2nd Annual Where Great Futures Begin SSF Luncheon

About the Event

The Second Annual Where Great Futures Begin Luncheon is the Club’s signature fundraising event in South San Francisco.  All donations raised at the event will directly contribute to our Summer Day Camp Scholarship Fund, guaranteeing that those who need us most will have an opportunity to experience stimulating, educational, and physically active programs and field trips, all in a safe environment.

Featured Speaker

Reggie B.
2017 Junior Youth of the Year

Reggie has been a Club kid since 2012, and is currently a member of the Middle School Program. His favorite activity at the Club is Tech Builders, the hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) curriculum that teaches participants to innovate, create, and invent new things. Last summer, he was featured on KTVU Fox News with Club staff to discuss his involvement with Google Code Corps, the partnership between Google, AmeriCorps and Boys & Girls Clubs of America that has brought coding classes to our sites in South San Francisco and Pacifica.

In Reggie’s words:

Boys & Girls Club programs help further my interest in technology and leadership skills. One day, I hope to be a multi-billionaire technological engineer that gives back to the community.

We’re thrilled to honor this talented young man!
