For the ninth year, Boys & Girls Clubs of North San Mateo County hosted Monster Bash, our annual community Halloween event. This year, close to 300 Club kids, along with another 300 families, friends, and community members, came to the Orange Park Clubhouse to celebrate Halloween with games, arts & crafts, a Haunted House, and other fun activities.
New this year: Monster Bash “swag bags,” filled with health and safety-related items like mini flashlights, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and healthy snacks. Swag bags were made possible by donations from the Kiwanis Club of South San Francisco, The Shops at Tanforan, and other friends of the Club.
We’re incredibly grateful to all of the volunteers who made the event a success: SSFHS Interact Club, SSFHS Key Club, San Francisco State University’s Circle K, and the El Camino High School Key Club, along with Officers Herrera and Butterfield from the South San Francisco Police Department.
We hope to see you next October for the Club’s 10th annual Monster Bash! In the meantime, check out more photos from the event on our Facebook page.
