Every year, nearly 4 million young people are served by Boys & Girls Clubs. To celebrate these extraordinary efforts, Ross Stores, Inc. (NYSE: FDO) announced that it is partnering with Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) with a four-week program called, “Open the Door to Great Futures.” Beginning Feb. 7, Ross customers in Pacifica and South San Francisco can make a monetary contribution at checkout to be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of North San Mateo County this February. Participating locations are Pacifica (Linda Mar Shopping Center), Daly City (Westlake Shopping Center), and Daly City (Gellert Blvd.).

The Boys & Girls Clubs of North San Mateo County serves over 2,500 children and youth each year at 6 sites in Pacifica and South San Francisco. In Pacifica, over 200 members attend the afterschool program at the Yosemite Drive Clubhouse each year. Lacy Middle School, over 300 students participate in 10 different after school sports, receive homework support, and drop-in at the Clubhouse on campus where they can receive free healthy snacks daily.
