Where and how do I register my child to be a member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of North San Mateo County?

You can create a free account and register at portal.theclubs.org to sign up for all of our programs and services! Or you can contact us at 650-355-1334 to speak with our membership specialist on the phone or visit us at our main clubhouse located at 955 Yosemite Dr Pacifica CA 94044.

Do I need to be a resident of the San Mateo County to register as a member?

No, we welcome everyone to sign up for our services and attend our events!

How old do children need to be to be part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of North San Mateo County?

Our seasonal, daily, and weekly camps are for 1st-8th grade. We have after school program sites that cater to TK-K, Elementary 1st-5th, and Middle School 6th-8th graders. Sports programs are available to 1st-8th grade students which are during broken up in seasons for Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer with COED as an option.

Why do I pay an annual membership fee?

There is an annual membership for the school year from August-June of $50 and a Summer Camp membership from June-August of $25. These annual membership fees support the administrative costs of enrolling, coordinating, and preparing our team for your youth to attend our program. A membership is required to participate in the sports, camps, and after school programs.

Do you provide scholarships?

Yes, we are committed to providing high quality care to all youth, regardless of economic status. We encourage families to speak with our Membership Specialist for more details on our scholarship program. We offer Full and Partial scholarship programs.

Do you provide Transportation Service?

Yes, we offer Transportation via BGCNSMC owned and operated Vans. We offer AM drive-overs (from Yosemite Clubhouse to your youth’s school), and PM drive-overs (from your youth’s school, to the Yosemite Clubhouse). Currently, we offer this transportation service for Cabrillo Elementary School, Ortega Elementary School, & Vallemar Elementary School.

Do you provide food at the Clubs?

Yes, we provide a healthy, well-balanced snack in the AM and PM. On Camp Days, youth are currently required to bring a lunch.

Are you affiliated with other Boys & Girls Clubs?

Boys & Girls Club of North San Mateo County is a non-profit, 501c organization. There are many Boys & Girls Clubs across the nation, however each organization is its own entity.
