There are several ways you can help. GIFT OF STOCK, IRA, & RETIREMENT PLANS Support Boys & Girls Clubs and save on capital gains taxes. The gift of an asset, often common stock or mutual fund shares, is a valuable way to make a contribution to a charitable organization and receive tax benefits based on the value of the asset(s). PLANNED GIVING | THE HERITAGE CLUB Ensure that the future needs of our community’s youth are met by including them in your estate plans. Additionally, we seek in-kind professional support in the areas of marketing, public relations, technology, human resource management, finance/resource development, operations, & facility maintenance. DONATE YOUR VEHICLE Have an old car, motorcycle, or boat taking up space in your driveway? Donate it to Boys & Girls Clubs of North San Mateo County! Vehicles are accepted, running or not. Through our partner, Donate for Charity, donating your vehicle is made simple! Make sure to select “Boys & Girls Clubs of North San Mateo County” under Charity Information.
EMPLOYEE MATCHING Many companies have programs through which they will “match” the charitable contributions made by their employees. Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply your gift to the Club, making it go further. Make sure to specify in your donation notes that your gift is matched by your work place and contact your HR Department once you have made a gift to the Club to ensure that we receive the match!
